What is greed - simply it is the desire for more and more material wealth or gain, in so doing ignoring the realsm of the spiritual. Also known as Avarice or Covertousness.


Greed is a sin and is punishable in hell where the guilty are put in cauldrons of boiling oil.


The animal associated with greed is the Frog and the colour is yellow.
