 What is Pride.   It is the escessive befief in one's own abilities,  in that the individual refuses to acknowledge the grace of God.   It is believed that all other sins evolve from Pride.    Vanity is another word for Pride.


The punishment in Hell for Pride is to be broken on the wheel.
